RYDE Productions LLC
Press Release – June 2008
RYDE Productions LLC has released the first DVD in its series of Bicycle Maintenance and Repair videos. The first installment, WRENCHED, was released to the cycling community just after Christmas. Sponsors include Pedro’s, Roswell Bicycles, Mountain Biking magazine, Maxxis tires, Kona Bicycles, Terrapin Beer Company, and Genuine Innovations. For cyclists of all mechanical abilities, this film serves as a tangible teaching tool that walks the consumer through each repair and forms a solid base of knowledge to build on mechanically. Close to a 3 hour runtime, Shawn Brunner is able to cover many different topics that will allow cyclists to have a safer more enjoyable experience whenever they throw their leg over a bike. The film goes over all the components and terminology associated with bikes, keys to better shifting, changing brake cables, chain and cassette installation, and wrapping a handle bar. It also covers the proper way to wash and lube a bike along with fixing threaded and threadless headsets as well as the dreaded tire change. The first installment of WRENCHED is available for purchase at bike shops nationwide or on Amazon.com. The series will be completed with an Advanced to Expert DVD and a Wheel Building DVD.
